How does reconstructive surgery work?
Dr. Schneider tailors each reconstructive surgery to the unique needs of his patients. There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ formula for these procedures. This surgery may be performed under local or general anesthesia. Incisions will also vary, but Dr. Schneider always strives to ensure there will be as little visible post-operative scarring as possible. Most reconstructive surgery can be done on an outpatient basis, but there are times when a hospitalization is necessary.
